Not sure what to write when you sit down to journal? These three prompts will help you reflect, release, and realign your heart with God.
Journaling is one of the most powerful ways to process your spiritual journey. It creates space for honest conversations with God, invites clarity when life feels overwhelming, and gives voice to the whispers of your heart.
But let’s be honest — sometimes… that blank page feels more intimidating than inspiring. You sit down with the best intentions, pen in hand, and suddenly your mind goes quiet. What do I even write? Where do I start?
Here are 3 simple prompts to get your thoughts flowing:
✍️ 1. “God, today I feel…”Let your heart speak honestly. No filter, no pressure.
✍️ 2. “What are You showing me through this season?”Reflect on a struggle, joy, or scripture. Listen inwardly.
✍️ 3. “Here’s what I want to let go of…”Use this to release what no longer serves your spiritual growth.
Remember: You don’t have to sound “spiritual” on paper. Just be real. God meets us in our honesty.
“Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.” — Psalm 62:8
